Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Mobile Repair Specialist in Memphis, TN, to repair equipment and keep downtime to a minimum. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs to U-Haul standards, and maintain parts inventory in a field service setting.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, familiarity with automotive/trailer mechanics, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment. This on-site position offers benefits and growth opportunities within the U-Haul team.

Qualifications

• Self-starter and able to work without supervision.
• Positive attitude and teamwork in field service.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools for equipment repair.
• Understanding of automotive/trailer mechanics and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Repair equipment using appropriate tools to U-Haul standards.
• Perform work in a timely manner.
• Determine causes of operating errors and decide corrective actions.
• Ongoing U-Haul equipment education is required.
• Establish routes to repair down equipment and ensure completion or scheduling.
• Maintain inventory of repair parts and charge out used parts.
• Support teammates as needed under supervisor guidance.
