Job summary

U-Haul Webster, TX is seeking a Mobile Repair Specialist to service and repair our fleet of trucks and trailers. This role emphasizes self-management, reliability, and hands-on mechanical skills to keep equipment in service for customers.

You will work with diagnostic tools and factory standards to diagnose and fix issues across the mobile repair landscape. The position offers opportunities for growth within an industry leader and requires driving between locations with a focus on timely,

Qualifications

Self-starter with the ability to work without supervision.
Positive attitude and reliability as a mechanic with diagnostic tools.
Familiarity with automotive/trailer mechanics.
Must hold a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Repair equipment using the appropriate tools to conform to U-Haul standards.
Perform work in a timely manner.
Determine the causes of operating errors and decide what to do about them.
Continued U-Haul equipment education is required.
Establish an effective route in the assigned area to repair all down or inoperable equipment and ensure repairs or scheduling.
Maintain inventory of all repair parts and ensure parts used are charged out.
Team Members are expected to assist in additional areas as necessary under supervision.
