Job summary

LSU Health Sciences Center New Orleans is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator 2 to operate and maintain motor vehicles and rolling equipment for transportation, maintenance and construction tasks on campus. This essential position requires availability after hours during emergencies and potential assignment to emergency teams.

The role requires a valid driver's license, pre-employment drug test, physical and criminal background check, and probationary appointment.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in mobile equipment operations.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License.
• Pre-employment Drug testing, Physical and Criminal Background check are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate listed mobile equipment safely and efficiently.
• Picks up parts and materials from vendors.
• Transports coworkers between points on/off campus grounds.
• Perform building exterior clean-up, tree and field maintenance.
• Assist other departments and complete work orders.
