Job summary

Pinecrest Supports and Services Center is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator 1-2 to assist in the daily operation of the Area Maintenance Department on the Pinecrest grounds. No experience or training is required, and the role involves hands-on maintenance of grounds, hedges, and cemetery areas.

Shift runs 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM with weekends off; compensation ranges from $16.06 to $30.92 per hour depending on operator level. Contact Robert L. Jones for more information.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Ability to operate and maintain various groundskeeping equipment.
• Basic safety awareness and willingness to learn sensitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain mobile equipment to care for Pinecrest grounds and cemetery areas.
• Operate multiple heavy-duty machines (lawn tractor, backhoe, grader blade, roller) for road and lawn work.
• Use bucket truck to clean gutters, prune trees, and remove debris; perform chain saw use.
• Carry out hedge trimming, fertilization, weed control, and vegetation removal.
• Maintain logs of vehicle use and restock supplies as needed; assist with cemetery setup.
