Job summary

Down to Earth, a Florida landscape company, is seeking a Golf Equipment Operator to support daily golf course maintenance within our Golf Division. You will operate specialized turf equipment to maintain high-standard playability and appearance.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience with landscape or turf equipment, a strong focus on safety and detail, and the ability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays. Benefits include health, 401k, PTO, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience operating landscape or turf maintenance equipment
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow precise instructions
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in outdoor conditions

Responsibilities

• Operate golf course maintenance equipment such as riding mowers, reel mowers, utility vehicles, tractors, turf vacs, skip-loaders, aerifiers, sprayers, and specialty turf equipment
• Perform daily mowing of greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and surrounds as assigned
• Assist with course maintenance activities including bunker maintenance, debris removal, edging, and general grounds care
• Monitor turf conditions and report issues such as disease, stress, or damage to supervisors
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance such as cleaning, fueling, and blade checks
• Follow daily work schedules, mowing patterns, and course setup instructions
• Adhere to all safety policies, equipment guidelines, and course rules
• Support tournament setup, special events, and seasonal course preparation
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas, equipment storage, and maintenance zones
• Performing other tasks as assigned
