Job summary

Cleveland-Cliffs in Toledo, OH is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator for our HBI plant to operate various mobile equipment across the site on rotating shifts and load HBI product to rail and trucks as required.

The role requires performing routine inspections and safety checks, troubleshooting equipment, maintaining clean work areas, and providing timely turnover information to the oncoming crew while coordinating with control room, maintenance, and contractors to sustain uninterrupted

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years related equipment operator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate front end loaders, skid steer, forklifts, water truck, and street sweeper.
• Load HBI product to rail and trucks and move material between locations.
• Perform routine inspections and safety checks of equipment.
• Coordinate with control room, maintenance, and contractors to maintain operations.
• Follow safety standards and maintain clean work areas.
