Ability to operate equipment safely around pedestrians, employees and other traffic is a primary concern. Acomplete understanding of preventive maintenance and proper operation of these machines is required. **Job Duties:**75%- Operate large mowers and tractors ranging in size from 25HP to 125HP that pull large bush hogs, flails, finish mower decks, side bush hogs, etc., in support of mowing activities on the campus and at offsite locations as directed. 10%- Work with landscape crews and construction crews performing a variety of tasks necessary for grounds maintenance. 10%- Perform necessary preventive maintenance, cleaning, greasing, minor repairs and associated record keeping to maintain the equipment in a ready and safe state of operation.
