Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, seeks a Mobile Equipment Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance and repair of mobile equipment including forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, front-end loaders, skid steers and trailers. Work indoors and outdoors as needed.

You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using schematics and repair manuals, perform PMs, replace parts, and maintain safety standards. A high school diploma or GED and at least two years of mobile equipment experience are

Qualifications

• Two years of mobile equipment maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or GED; OSHA-10 is a plus.
• Ability to read schematics and repair manuals; work indoors/outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, loaders, skid steers and trailers.
• Troubleshoot, adjust and repair mobile equipment using schematics and manuals.
• Dismantle equipment to access defective parts and replace as needed.
• Inspect motors, belts, fluids and filters; follow PM checklists.
• Operate hand and power tools to complete tasks; uphold safety standards.
