The ideal candidate has strong mechanical experience, is committed to safety, and can work independently or with others to meet schedules. This full-time position offers competitive pay of $35.24 per hour and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience troubleshooting and repairing heavy equipment or commercial vehicles.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical systems using appropriate diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety and producing quality work.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on ready mix trucks and other mobile equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine-related issues and implement effective repair solutions.
• Inspect equipment to ensure it meets all safety and operational standards.
• Complete scheduled maintenance in a timely manner to minimize equipment downtime.
• Maintain accurate service, maintenance, and repair records.
• Work collaboratively with other mechanics and operations personnel to prioritize repairs and keep equipment running efficiently.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations.
