Texas Materials in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to perform repairs on mobile equipment and at our Concrete Ready-Mix plants. The role involves a 60/40 split between shop and field work.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years mobile equipment maintenance, a high school diploma or GED, and a CDL is preferred. We offer competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems and transmissions.
• Familiarity with welding and diagnostic tools.
• CDL preferred and safe driving record.

Responsabilités

• Repair and maintenance of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, transmissions, brakes, and drivelines.
• Perform shop and mobile repairs on ready-mix trucks and other equipment (60/40 split).
• Use diagnostic software to troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Order parts and maintain inventory; assist Senior Mechanic as needed.
• Follow safety policies and participate in tailgate safety meetings.
