Job summary

General Equipment & Supplies, Inc is seeking a Planned Maintenance Technician to coordinate and maintain service across Western North Dakota, traveling to customer sites to perform routine maintenance and ensure OEM specifications are met.

Working with the Service Foreman, you will inspect equipment, service machines on maintenance contracts, and demonstrate troubleshooting and safe work practices while supporting branch locations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and the ability to maintain an insurable driving record.
• 2-year Diesel Technology degree or Automotive degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Has a basic tool set.
• Willing to assist other branch locations in Western ND as needed for providing services to machines.
• Excellent customer service skills, internal and external customers.
• Organizational skills with ability to effectively manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Performs walk-around inspections of equipment in the field as required.
• Handles servicing for all machines on Maintenance Contracts.
• Ability to work outside in all-weather elements.
• Maintains a service schedule log and completes all required paperwork for jobs.
• Performs necessary maintenance to machine service levels, primarily under OEM specifications.
• Demonstrates basic troubleshooting skills and performs basic maintenance with minimal supervision.
• Maintains a clean workplace and proper care of tools/equipment.
• Works safely and follows safe working habits.
• Demonstrates equipment and mechanical knowledge.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Service Foreman.
