Job summary

Vulcan Materials Company is seeking a Mobile Equipment Inventory Clerk to manage and maintain accurate inventory records of mobile equipment, parts, and supplies at our Virginia facilities. You will coordinate with vendors, perform regular cycle counts, and ensure efficient storage and handling while complying with safety policies.

Responsibilities include vendor liaison, inventory control, material testing selection, and maintaining procurement records in our internal systems.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years experience or related work history.
• Knowledge of common office practices and use of office equipment.
• Basic math skills; ten-key calculator by touch.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Integrity and accountability in business transactions.

Responsibilities

• Vendor relations: obtain product/service info and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Manage inventory: conduct weekly cycle counts and support quarterly counts.
• Select testing material: assess products for purchase based on market knowledge.
• Manage systems: create requisitions and track inventory in internal system with barcode.
