Expedia Group is seeking a Mobile Engineer III, iOS, to own and enhance critical production checkout applications. You will ensure the Expedia Checkout is fast, available, and scalable, tackling scale challenges with strong architectural and coding skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or 5 years of equivalent practical experience.
• Experience shipping native iOS applications from design through production.
• Strong iOS architecture, low-level design, API integration, and data modeling experience.
• Proficiency with iOS tools, frameworks, testing, observability, and operational best practices.
• Experience collaborating in cross-functional, multi-domain teams.

About the Role

As a Mobile Engineer III, iOS, working on Expedia's critical production checkout applications, your mission will be to ensure Expedia Checkout is always fast, available, scalable, and engineered to withstand unparalleled demand. Minimum Qualifications

• Professional experience shipping native iOS applications with ownership from design through production
• Strong iOS architecture, low‑level design, API integration, and data modeling experience
• Proficiency with iOS tools, frameworks, testing, observability, and operational best practices
• Experience collaborating in cross‑functional, multi‑domain teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing and scaling complex iOS architectures (modularization, performance, offline support)
• Proven delivery of high‑impact iOS features across multiple domains
• Strong focus on operational excellence (instrumentation, monitoring, alerting, incident resolution)
• Experience integrating AI/ML‑enabled capabilities into mobile apps securely and responsibly
• Familiarity with AI‑driven development tools and applying AI/ML concepts to improve product quality and developer efficiency

Salary and Benefits

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $146,000.00 to $204,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $233,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role. Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
