Job summary

Mercor, a San Francisco-based company connecting elite AI researchers with top software teams, is seeking an iOS Engineer (Coding Agent Experience) on a contract basis. This remote role pays $85/hour and focuses on evaluating frontier AI coding agents and mobile code produced by models.

You will review production iOS apps built with Swift, assess architecture, identify edge cases, and collaborate with teams to improve performance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional iOS engineering experience.
• Experience building production iOS apps using Swift and modern iOS frameworks.
• Regular use of AI coding agents such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Windsurf, Gemini CLI, or similar tools.
• Ability to evaluate model-generated mobile implementations and architectural decisions.

Compensation & Legal

• $400 per accepted task
• Typical tasks take approximately 2-3 hours after ramp-up.
• Compensation is tied to accepted work.
