Job summary

Mercor, a remote-friendly contract role, is seeking a Frontend Engineer to work with frontier AI coding agents to complete and evaluate engineering tasks. You will build and review modern web interfaces, focusing on correctness, accessibility, and performance.

In this role, you will review model-generated frontend code, identify edge cases, compare outputs from multiple models, and apply sound engineering judgment to realistic frontend scenarios, collaborating with AI-assisted workflows.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional frontend engineering experience.
• Experience building modern web applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar technologies.
• Regular use of AI coding agents such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Windsurf, Gemini CLI, or similar tools.
• Ability to evaluate model-generated frontend implementations, UI architecture, and performance optimizations.

Compensation & Legal

• $400 per accepted task
• Compensation tied to accepted work
