Job summary

Plane is seeking a mobile engineer to own Flutter-powered features across the iOS and Android stack. You’ll drive end-to-end work from UI to data, ensuring consistency with the architecture and test coverage, while collaborating with backend, design, product, and QA teams in San Francisco and Hyderabad.

You will ship native surface integrations, manage state flow, and maintain the editor experience inside the app, ensuring high quality and reliable user experiences across releases.

Qualifications

• Shipped and maintained Flutter apps in production.
• Architect for maintainability with clean architecture and SOLID.
• Understand unidirectional data flow and state management.
• Describe your composition root and how you swap implementations in tests.
• Write unit and widget tests during development.

Responsibilities

• Own feature areas end to end, from UI to data layer and native code.
• Ensure features follow the established architecture and patterns.
• Own the native surface on Android and iOS widgets, actions, and background work.
• Oversee the editor UI integration inside the app and ensure consistency.
• Manage push notifications, in-app notifications, and inbox activity.
• Collaborate with backend, design, product, and QA across multiple offices.
