Job summary

OP RaaS is seeking a Mobile Engineer II to join a skilled team delivering a reliable cross‑platform mobile app. You will work with designers, developers, and product managers to implement new features using Flutter and Dart on iOS and Android.

You should be comfortable with cloud services (Azure or AWS), open‑source frameworks, and Agile practices, and you will help maintain and enhance the app while guiding best practices across the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, or information systems or related field.
• Two years qualifying IT or engineering experience.
• Experience with mobile app development and Agile practices.
• Familiarity with cloud services is a plus.

Job description

As a Mobile Engineer you will work with a highly skilled team of engineers to deliver a highly reliable, quality mobile app. In this role, you will work closely with our team of designers, developers, and product managers to create and iterate on new features. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with Flutter and Dart. You'll also be comfortable using cloud technologies like Azure or AWS services, open-source frameworks, and Agile practices.

Our engineers will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the mobile app aimed at a wide range of audiences. Highly focused on developing a user-friendly app compatible with iOS and Android. Able to work effectively with other development team members and have a strong understanding of how app development works.

Our lead engineer will provide leadership and initiative in the overall coordination of design, development, troubleshooting and debugging complex software programs for enhancements and new features. Responsible for highly complex concept design through the full development life cycle. Highly focused on developing a user-friendly app compatible with iOS and Android. Coaches others in less senior positions.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and develop a scalable, user-friendly app.

What You’ll Know:

• Experience with Dart, Flutter, and/or React Native.
• Strong understanding of OOP concepts and design patterns.
• Strong understanding of how app development works.
• Familiarity with Git, Jira, and Agile methodology.

Skills Considered a Plus:

• 3-5 years experience with mobile app development (iOS and/or Android).
• Experience with other programming languages (e.g. Java, Kotlin, Swift) is a plus.
• Experience in developing the microservices for APIs and Integrate UI with JSON APIs and other distributed systems.

Minimum Qualifications

Mobile Engineer II:

Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, or information systems or related field and/or equivalent formal training or work experience. Two (2) years qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.
