Job summary

Big Smiles, a school-based mobile dental practice, is seeking a Full-time Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) in Louisville, KY and surrounding areas to help provide dental care to underserved children at their school.

The program offers a daytime schedule aligned with school hours, travel to local school sites, and the chance to work with dedicated teammates using portable digital radiography.

Qualifications

• Working experience as an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA).
• CPR/BLS Card required.
• Digital X-ray Imaging experience.
• Valid driver license, reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.
• Works well with children.
• Fast-paced environment; organized and detail-oriented; able to multi-task.
• Able to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
• X-Ray Certified.
• Sealant Certified.
• Coronal Polishing Certified.

Responsibilities

• Dental assisting during mobile dental clinics.
• Digital X-ray Imaging.
• Patient records charting.
• Equipment setup, breakdown, and sterilization assistance.
• Travel daily to and from school sites.
