Job summary

Kids Dentistree in Louisville seeks a dedicated EDDA to join our team and deliver high-quality dental care. You will assist dentists and hygienists, maintain a clean, efficient clinical environment, and help educate patients while upholding safety protocols.

The position is full-time with a 35-hour week, a $1,200 sign-on bonus, and a strong emphasis on teamwork, growth, and state-of-the-art tools. Background checks and drug screening are required for employment, and benefits begin after 60 days.

Qualifications

• EDDA or EFDA certification is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Radiology certification and CPR certification must be obtained within the required timeframe.
• Background check and drug screening are required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers clinically excellent dental care under dentist and hygienist supervision.
• Assists in diagnosis, patient education, and posting charges.
• Follows CDC and OSHA safety and infection control guidelines.
• Completes clinical notes and prepares treatment rooms per practice guidelines.
• Prepares instrumentation and assists with procedures including restorations.

Responsibilities

• Delivers clinically excellent dental care through education and quality treatment. Assists dentists and hygienists in quality diagnosis through X-rays, verbal communication, and other dental tests as directed.
• Helps ensure efficient operations by seeking patient referrals, maintaining equipment, utilizing supplies cost-effectively, and posting patient charges accurately.
• Follows CDC and OSHA guidelines for safety and infection control.
• Completes all clinical notes according to practice guidelines before dismissing the patient.
• Prepares treatment room for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols. Provides instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to the treatment area; positioning instruments for the dentist's access; suctioning; and passing instruments.
• Places and finishes permanent restorations, complete preliminary impressions.

Qualifications

• Have your EDDA or EFDA certification
• Have your high school diploma or equivalent
• Obtain your radiology and CPR certification within the required timeframe
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
