Job summary

Big Smiles is seeking an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) in Hopkinsville, KY. The role involves providing dental assistance during mobile clinics, managing patient records, and utilizing digital X-ray imaging. The ideal candidate will have experience as an EDDA and be CPR/BLS certified. Big Smiles offers evenings and weekends off, a school day schedule of about 6-7 hours, and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance. Qualifications

• Must have valid driver license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel locally is a must.
• Able to lift and carry equipment for set-up up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental assisting services during mobile dental clinics.
• Conduct digital X-ray imaging.
• Assist with patient records charting.
• Help with equipment set-up, breakdown, and sterilization.
• Travel daily to and from school sites.

Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) Qualifications

• Working experience as a Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA)
• CPR/BLS Card
• Digital X-ray Imaging experience
• Valid driver license, reliable transportation and a willingness to travel locally is a must
• Works well with children
• Works well in fast‑paced environment; organized and detail‑oriented; able to multi‑task
• Able to lift and carry equipment for set‑up and take down. Up to 50 lbs.
• X‑Ray Certified
• Sealant Certified
• Coronal Polishing Certified

Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) Responsibilities

• Dental Assisting Services during mobile dental clinics
• Digital X‑ray Imaging
• Patient Records Charting
• Equipment Set‑up, Breakdown, and Sterilization Assistance
• Travel Daily to and from school sites
