Job summary

St. Matthews Dental Care, a Heartland Dental supported office in Louisville, is seeking an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) to support the clinical team.

The role includes taking and developing X-rays, organizing lab equipment, and delivering post-operative care while ensuring patient comfort and safety. The ideal candidate has a friendly personality, strong communication, good manual dexterity and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Positive, outgoing personality with strong communication skills.
• Excellent patient care and organizational abilities.
• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Willingness to travel for training if required.

Responsibilities

• Take and develop X-rays and record patient histories.
