aboutPlay is seeking an Early Interventionist to serve in South Carolina, including York and surrounding counties. Candidates must reside in SC with 1 year of experience with children aged 0–6.

The role involves delivering family-centered services, training families at home or in natural settings, and promoting child development. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's in Education or related field, with on‑the‑job training available.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree in one of the listed fields plus 1 year of documented experience with children birth to six years.
• Prior early interventionist experience preferred or recent & upcoming college graduate with related degree and willingness for on‑the‑job training.

Responsibilities

• Provide family-centered early intervention services to families with infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities.
• Perform family training with the caregiver and child in their home, daycare or natural environment.
• Provide training, education, and support to families in child development, parenting, and family functioning.
• Develop and implement strategies to promote the child’s development.
• Monitor the progress of the child and family.
