Kooner Fleet Management Solutions is seeking a DOT Inspection Technician to perform on-site inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers in a mobile field setting. You will use a company‑provided service vehicle and tools to complete inspections and ensure compliance.

Ideal candidates have technical training or hands-on experience, are self-motivated, and comfortable using mobile apps and digital documentation. This is a full-time, on-site role with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Basic DOT knowledge or willingness to learn DOT inspection standards.
• Customer-facing and field-based work requires dependability and self-management.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site DOT inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers in a mobile field environment.
• Conduct tire changes and replacements on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers as needed.
• Respond to dispatch requests for scheduled and unscheduled inspections and tire replacements.
• Document inspection findings clearly and accurately for follow-up by senior technicians.
