Qualifications

• Diesel or heavy-duty vehicle technical training preferred.
• Familiarity with DOT inspection standards or willingness to learn.
• Strong communications skills for customer and driver interaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite DOT inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers.
• Perform tire changes and replacements on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers.
• Respond to dispatch requests for inspections and tire replacements.
• Use inspection tools and equipment to assess vehicle condition against DOT standards.
• Document inspection findings clearly, flag out-of-service items, and recommend repairs.
• Take ownership of a company-provided service vehicle and conduct pre- and post-trip inspections.
