OneBlood in Florida seeks a phlebotomist to perform blood collection procedures from donors, ensuring adherence to FDA and AABB standards. You will obtain medical histories, take vitals, and maintain accurate donor documentation in a mobile unit environment.

The role requires strong customer service, professional demeanor, and the ability to work on a mobile collection unit. A High School diploma is required, and prior phlebotomy experience is preferred to help maintain donor safety and donor

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Strong reading, writing and communication skills.
• Ability to follow safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsabilités

• Obtains medical history and vitals from donors and/or patients.
• Performs phlebotomy and collection procedures to collect blood or blood components.
• Displays excellent customer service and professionalism towards all customers.
• Assists with the recruitment of potential apheresis, and bone marrow donors.
