Ryder in Lenexa, Kansas is seeking a Mid-Level Diesel Technician to join a steady, career-focused team. You’ll work on heavy-duty vehicles with access to top diagnostics and tools, receiving weekly pay, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Earn $31.50 per hour with additional incentives including certification bonuses, quarterly bonuses, and paid training. Second shift 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm, with full-time benefits starting from day one.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years or more of a combination of classroom training and work experience in required experience, preferred.
• Valid CDL CLASS A, preferred; must obtain CDL within 6 months after hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties on heavy-duty vehicles.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance and component inspections/repairs.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Identifies root causes and performs repairs as required.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of the issue.
• Operates Shop Management System and documentation tools.
