Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required or preferred.
• 2+ years of experience as a technician/diesel technician is preferred.
• Knowledge of shop equipment is advantageous.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are essential.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and inspection.
• Diagnose and repair minor engine issues using manufacturer software systems.
• Repair or replace brakes, wheel seals, suspension parts, and coupling devices.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and pneumatic issues.
• Repair or replace chassis, suspension and axle components.
• Perform general repairs to company equipment.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Collaborate with drivers, dispatchers, and leadership to address service issues.
• Assist with intake of road service calls during emergencies.
