Job summary

Venture Logistics, LLC is seeking a diesel technician to maintain company equipment at customer locations and breakdown sites. You will perform preventive maintenance, safety inspections, and diagnose engine issues using manufacturer software.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, experience with shop equipment, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring reliability and safety across fleet operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 2+ years of experience as a technician/diesel technician preferred.
• Knowledge of shop equipment and mechanical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all company equipment in the field at customer locations or breakdown sites.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Carry out safety inspections in line with FMCSA 49 CFR 396.
• Diagnose and repair minor engine issues using manufacturer software systems.
• Repair or replace brakes, suspension components, and related parts.
• Diagnose electrical and pneumatic issues and repair as needed.
• Service chassis, airbags, and related components; replace worn parts.
• Repair or replace flooring, rub rails, doors, and related body panels.
• Maintain regular attendance and reliability.
