Job summary

Red Classic is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician B to repair and maintain all types of customer vehicles and equipment at various on-site locations. You will work independently with limited supervision, mentoring junior technicians as needed, and complete commercial customer asset PMs and repairs.

The role requires personal hand tools and flexibility for weekend/holiday work, with a starting pay range and full-time benefits package outlined in the posting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge acquired through 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
• D.O.T. Brake Inspection certification.
• Ability to obtain DOT Medical Certificate.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic electrical, mechanical diagnostic, and repair of customer vehicles and equipment, including material handling, trailers, and diesel-powered equipment.
• Ability to diagnose and repair automatic brake systems.
• Maintain accurate parts inventory, researches and resolve all discovered inventory discrepancies, and notify maintenance management when a resolution is not available.
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of work area and warehouse, perform other tasks as determined and requested by management.
• Serve as a mentor for Vehicle Technicians B and C, may perform other duties as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
