Red Classic is looking for a Mobile Technician B in Louisville, Kentucky. Qualifications

Shift & Pay

• Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm (hours may vary based on customer needs).
• Pay Rate Starting at $30.00 - $35.00 per hour, based on skillset and experience.

Job Overview

The Mobile Technician B will repair and maintain all types of customer vehicles and equipment, including material handling, trailers, and diesel‑powered equipment. The technician will perform job duties independently with limited supervision, mentor and assist vehicle technicians as needed, and complete commercial customer asset preventive maintenance and repairs at remote commercial customer work sites. Must be equipped with personal hand tools (removed box tools are stored in service bed of truck).

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform basic electrical, mechanical diagnostic, and repair of customer vehicles and equipment, including material handling, trailers, and diesel‑powered equipment.
• Diagnose and repair automatic brake systems.
• Maintain accurate parts inventory, research and resolve inventory discrepancies, and notify maintenance management when a resolution is not available.
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the work area and warehouse, performing other tasks as determined and requested by management.
• Serve as a mentor for Vehicle Technicians B and C, and may perform other duties as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Basic skills in welding and cutting torch operation.
• Basic diagnostic tool skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Professional and appropriate interaction with internal and external customers.
• Ability to schedule and prioritize daily tasks.
• Provide own tools.
• Comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Operate power, hand, diagnostic tools, and material handling equipment.
• Capable of driving company equipment including Class 8 tractors.
• Capable of driving and working out of a mobile shop truck.
• Work a flexible schedule, possibly varying start and end times, including weekends and holidays.
• Lift 50 lbs.
• Stand and walk for the entire shift, work outdoors in the elements at commercial customer work sites.
• Work remotely at various commercial customer sites without direct supervision.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 3‑5 years of relevant work experience.
• D.O.T. Brake Inspection certification.
• Ability to obtain DOT Medical Certificate.
• Valid Driver’s License.
