Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Technician to travel to customer facilities with a fully equipped bay on wheels to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers.

You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair in a professional manner, ensuring customers are satisfied. Flexibility with hours and locations is required; DOT physical annually and a valid CDL are expected.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical annually.
• Basic computer skills for work orders and logs.
• Prior repair or parts shop experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer facilities to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
• Diagnose wear conditions and provide recommendations to customers.
• Follow Safety guidelines and report unsafe situations.
• Provide accurate, efficient service and support customers professionally.
