Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Technician to service customers at their facilities or distribution centers. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose wear, and repair heavy-duty trucks and trailers in a professional, customer-focused manner.

You will travel to sites, understand standard services and customer programs, follow safety guidelines, and report any hazards. A DOT physical and valid license are required, with flexible hours and travel expectations

Qualifications

• A dedicated individual who works well with others.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience in repair or parts shop preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• A valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical examination on an annual basis.

Responsibilities

• Travel to a customer’s facility or distribution center to perform preventive maintenance services and repairs.
• Diagnose wear conditions and make recommendations to customers.
• Follow safety guidelines and report potentially unsafe situations.
• Understand Truck Service Standard Services and specialized customer programs.
