Fyda Freightliner Columbus is seeking a diesel technician to assist with on-site preventive maintenance and repairs of diesel-powered commercial trucks. You will diagnose and perform mechanical, hydraulic, engine, chassis, and electrical repairs at vendor or customer locations.

The role requires at least 2 years of HD diesel experience, high school diploma or GED, and ability to lift up to 100 pounds. DOT-compliant background check and drug screening may be required.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED certificate.
• 2 years verifiable experience with HD diesel trucks or equipment.
• Class B CDL a plus.
• Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screening (DOT guidelines).
• MVR must meet company eligibility.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Troubleshoot diesel engines.
• Troubleshoot chassis components.
• Determine parts and tools for repairs (mechanical, hydraulic, electrical).
• Complete service paperwork efficiently.
