Job summary

Allstate Peterbilt Group in the Midwest seeks a Mobile Service Technician to diagnose malfunctions, perform repairs in shop or on-site, and communicate with parts and service teams to ensure timely maintenance. The role requires safe operation of service vehicles and adherence to EPA, OSHA, and DOT regulations.

You will engage in manufacturer training, maintain vehicle inventory, and mentor less-experienced technicians, with opportunities across multiple dealership locations in the region.

Qualifications

• Hands-on ability to diagnose and repair medium/heavy duties.
• Strong communication with service and parts teams.
• Ability to follow safety, EPA/OSHA/DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose malfunction causes and perform repairs in shop or on the road.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Maintain service vehicle inventory and ensure proper stock levels.
• Road-test and document all work performed.
