Job summary

Allstate Peterbilt Group is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to diagnose and repair truck and trailer systems, both in-shop and on-site at customer locations. You will maintain service vehicle inventory, secure parts, and communicate with management on schedules and required work.

The role requires ongoing training and potential mentoring of junior technicians. This position emphasizes safety, accuracy, and staying current with manufacturer updates and regulations while delivering dependable

Responsibilities

• Diagnose cause of malfunction and perform repair in shop type atmosphere and on occasion, road side situations.
• Maintain accurate inventory on service vehicle.
• Assure appropriate stock levels are maintained on service vehicle.
• Road test vehicles when required.
• Follow all service policies and procedures to insure safety, profitability and accuracy.
• Attain industry certifications as required.
• Mentor less-skilled technicians as assigned.
