Job summary

The Larson Group Peterbilt is seeking an experienced Mobile Diesel Service Technician to join our team. This role performs diagnostic and repair work on heavy-duty trucks and travels to customer locations to provide over-the-road assistance within the assigned region.

A safety-sensitive position requiring a High School diploma and the ability to obtain/maintain a Class A CDL. Trade school or college training is preferred; strong MVR adherence, and commitment to safety and quality repairs are

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Trade school certificate or college degree preferred.
• Experience in related field preferred.
• Must possess or be able to obtain Class A CDL.
• Motor Vehicle Record must adhere to MVR guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic/mechanical repairs on heavy-duty truck equipment. Tests repairs to ensure quality.
• Travels to customer locations to perform repairs and provide over-the-road assistance.
• Adheres to safety rules and company policies at all times.
• Communicates with Service Manager about parts not available for repairs.
• Downloads and saves Paccar Solutions/Decisiv data (pictures, engine files, diagnostics).
• Maintains repair order closure rate under 10 days with 3-day lag.
• Documents troubleshooting steps and repair results in detail.
• Saves warrantable parts; labels and stores with correct детали information.
• Maintains 85% efficiency and 90% productivity; 95% Peterbilt online training.
