Job summary

Ryder is seeking an experienced Mobile Auto and Diesel Technician in Dallas, Texas. This role offers weekly pay, a robust benefits package, and opportunities for career growth within a national logistics leader.

You will perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on heavy and medium-duty vehicles at customer sites, with company-provided service vehicles for mobile work. Prior diesel experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification preferred.
• Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers and discuss repair estimates and scope.
• Road test vehicles to identify causes of issues and verify repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance and vehicle repairs per PM guidelines.
• Coordinate with customers and team to ensure timely completion and satisfaction.
