Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Kansas City, MO is seeking an entry-level Diesel Technician to support our truck fleet. This is a permanent, full-time role with a 40-hour week and weekly pay. A retention bonus is available and on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic tools are required to perform job duties.
• 1+ year experience in transportation maintenance preferred.
• State driver’s license required when applicable.
• CDL Class A preferred; ability to drive Ryder vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers to facilitate preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Road test vehicles to identify causes of complaints and ensure quality work.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs across listed systems.
• Maintain and document repair orders and compliance with safety standards.
• Assist with scheduled maintenance and customer service duties.
