Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or Technical Certification post secondary degree or technical certifications preferred.
• Basic tools, required.
• Aptitude and experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines including routine preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Identifies root cause and performs repairs as required.
• Replaces defective components as instructed.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to understand issues.
• Uses Shop Management System and documentation.
• Adheres to safety, DOT, and MOT guidelines.
• Supports operations with service island duties.
