Vortex Fleet Services is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician to perform diagnostic, repair, and preventive maintenance services on commercial fleet vehicles throughout the Jackson area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of diesel mechanic experience or technical school training.
• Knowledge of DOT compliance standards.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to provide your own tools.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs and work in outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform mobile fleet maintenance and repair services.
• Diagnose diesel and gas engine issues.
• Complete electrical and mechanical repairs.
• Inspect vehicles and identify maintenance needs.
• Perform preventive maintenance services.
• Communicate repair findings to customers and service staff.
• Maintain accurate service documentation.
• Operate and maintain service vehicle equipment.
