Job summary

JX Enterprises, Inc. in Gaylord, MI is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to keep customer fleets moving. You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on heavy-duty vehicles in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

This role requires a diesel tech background, 2–5 years' experience, a valid driver's license (CDL a plus) and a mindset geared toward learning and customer service. Monday through Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with opportunities for growth and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / Trade school or college in diesel technology preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Valid Driver’s License required; CDL preferred (must be willing to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Determine vehicle condition by inspections and diagnostic tests; perform maintenance services.
• Keep equipment available by completing preventive maintenance; install upgrades; manage winterization; control corrosion.
• Correct vehicle deficiencies by repairing, replacing, or overhauling components and systems.
• Comply with federal and state vehicle requirements by testing engine and safety standards.
• Maintain vehicle records by documenting services and repairs.
• Road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions or verify proper operation.
• Collaborate with team to enhance customer experiences.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the business.
