Job summary

Dobbs Truck Group in Monroe, LA, is seeking a Diesel/Service Technician to diagnose and repair trucks and equipment from a mobile service truck. You will perform DOT inspections, electrical, engine, HVAC, and powertrain work, and document repairs for customer records.

The role requires 4 years of dealer experience, a valid CDL, and a strong customer-service mindset. You will maintain tools, parts, and after-hours availability as needed, with a focus on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age.
• 4 years of dealer experience as a Diesel/Service Technician.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License and a qualified MVR abstract.
• Minimum tool requirements are expected.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs within industry-standard times.
• Grow and maintain the customer base.
• Perform DOT inspections, troubleshooting, and repair on all vehicle systems.
• Diagnose and repair components such as injectors, cylinder heads, camshafts, bearings, and transmissions.
• Maintain service truck, tooling, and parts inventory.
