Job summary

Dobbs Truck Group is seeking a Diesel/Service Technician to perform maintenance and repair on commercial trucks and equipment from a mobile service truck. You will diagnose issues across electrical, engine, HVAC, and powertrain systems and perform repairs to high standards.

The role requires 4 years of dealer experience as a Diesel/Service Technician, a valid driver's license with a qualifying MVR abstract, and tools per company requirements.

Qualifications

• 4 years of dealer experience as a Diesel/Service Technician.
• Valid Driver's License and a qualified MVR abstract.
• Minimum tool requirements (see below).

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs in estimated time per industry standards.
• Grow and maintain the customer base.
• Perform DOT inspection, troubleshooting, and repair on all areas of a vehicle including electrical, charging systems, starting systems, engine, HVAC, powertrain, and chassis components.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment, software, and technical publications to determine root cause and repair solution.
• Maintain service truck, tooling, and parts inventory to company standards.
• Provide documentation that supports complaint, cause, and correction.
• Respond to customer requests and foster relationships.
• Be available after hours and alternate days.
