Job summary

TravelCenters of America seeks a Mobile Maintenance Technician to travel to customer facilities or distribution centers with a fully equipped bay-on-wheels for preventive maintenance and repairs on heavy duty trucks and trailers.

You will diagnose wear conditions, provide accurate service, and follow safety guidelines while delivering top-notch support to travelers returning to the road. A valid drivers license and DOT compliance are required; basic computer skills are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Valid drivers license required.
• DOT physical examination annually.

Responsibilities

• Travel to a customers facility or distribution center to perform preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heavy duty trucks and trailers.
• Provide accurate, efficient service to customers by diagnosing wear conditions and making recommendations.
• Follow safety guidelines and report potentially unsafe situations.
