Prestige Fleet Services in Quakertown, PA, seeks skilled diesel and trailer repair technicians to perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks, manage preventive maintenance, and ensure DOT compliance at customer sites or on the road with our service trucks.

This full-time role requires 3+ years of diesel/trailer repair experience, a Class A CDL, and the ability to work extended hours, including weekends. You will log hours on a company device and handle parts and DOT forms.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of diesel and trailer repair experience.
• 1 year of performing DOT inspections.
• Class A CDL required.
• Ability to work extended and/or irregular hours including weekends and holidays when needed.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Self-motivated with excellent organization and planning skills.
• 2 years of experience in performing annual federal inspections and brake inspections.
• 2 years of truck/trailer maintenance and repair or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Must possess proper tools.

Responsabilités

• Perform repairs and inspections on a variety of Class 6-8 trucks and trailers, such as brakes, diagnostics, A/C systems, electrical systems, engine components, exhaust systems, after-treatment systems, lift-gates, tires, etc.
• Schedule and overlook all maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Repair/Replace vehicle/trailer components.
• Open and Close repair orders on a company-issued device.
• Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory on the service truck.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and all other forms of documentation in a timely fashion.
