Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Post-secondary vocational education preferred.
• Experience in mechanical inspections and repairs.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a Class B license.
• Fleet and mobile maintenance experience a plus.
• Ability to understand and adhere to company policies in all areas.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty tractors and equipment.
• Operate a service truck for on-site inspections—often in inclement weather—and maintain the service truck.
• Diagnose and address vehicle breakdowns; replace and adjust worn or damaged components.
• Handle tire services, ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, maintain vehicle records, and manage costs using warranties and service options.
