Job summary

Prestige Fleet Services is a locally run fleet maintenance network seeking experienced diesel and trailer technicians to perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers at customer sites, with on-site service and scheduling oversight.

You will use mobile tools, document DOT forms, obtain parts, and manage maintenance and inspections while maintaining safety and quality standards. Flexibility, reliability, and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of diesel and trailer repair experience preferred.
• Communication skills.
• Ability to work extended hours including weekends and holidays.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Self-motivated with organization and planning skills.
• Ability to use a computer/tablet for electronic processing of work orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and inspections on a variety of Class 6-8 trucks and trailers, such as brakes, diagnostics, A/C systems, electrical systems, engine components, exhaust systems, after-treatment systems, lift-gates, tires, etc.
• Schedule and overlook all maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Repair/Replace vehicle/ trailer components.
• Open and Close repair orders on a company-issued device.
• Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory on the service truck.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and all other forms of documentation in a timely fashion.
