Kooner Fleet Management Solutions is hiring a Mobile Mechanic/Technician to perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on light to medium-duty vehicles at customer sites. You’ll work with top-tier tools and a supportive team to keep fleets road-ready.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on auto or diesel tech experience.
• Strong communication skills with customers and drivers.
• Comfortable using mobile apps, navigation systems and digital tools.
• Ready for outdoors – rain or shine at customer yards.
• Independent, dependable and self-motivated.
• Positive attitude and safety-first mindset.
• Must be 23+ with a clean driving record and a valid license.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite preventative maintenance, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs for light to medium-duty vehicles.
• Handle emergency road service calls with urgency.
• Respond to dispatch requests for scheduled and unscheduled service.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and air systems.
• Use handheld computers and diagnostic tools to identify issues.
• Utilize hand and power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs meet quality standards.
• Maintain repair times in line with industry standards.
• Collaborate with trusted vendors to source parts.
• Take ownership of company-issued service truck and conduct pre-/post-trip inspections.
