Job summary

Kooner Fleet Management Solutions is seeking a Mobile Mechanic/Technician to service fleets on-site and at customer yards. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on light to medium-duty vehicles, and handle emergency roadside service when needed.

You’ll work with top-tier tools and a team that values your skill and dedication, ensuring safe, reliable service that keeps America moving. Tools provided; you supply your own hand tools.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on auto or diesel tech experience on light to medium-duty vehicles.
• Strong communication skills with customers and drivers.
• Comfortable using mobile apps, navigation systems and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite preventative maintenance and DOT inspections on light/medium duty vehicles.
• Handle emergency road service calls with confidence and urgency.
• Respond to dispatch requests for scheduled and unscheduled service or maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and air systems.
• Use handheld computers and precision instruments to identify and fix issues fast.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs.
• Road test vehicles to ensure repairs meet top-quality standards.
• Stay productive and efficient, meeting or beating industry-standard repair times.
• Work with vendors to source parts and keep operations moving.
• Take ownership of a company-issued service truck and perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
