Job summary

Amrize, a leading supplier of quality construction materials in the United States, has an immediate opening for a Mobile Mechanic to support our Ready Mix operations. The Mobile Mechanic is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered vehicles and/or machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.

This role requires hands-on troubleshooting, routine servicing, and collaboration with the maintenance team to minimize equipment downtime and support continuous

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Diesel mechanics technology preferred.
• Minimum 2 years diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines.
• Travel to multiple sites throughout Maryland.
• ASE Diesel Certification or OEM training preferred.
• Ability to read manuals, schematics and service bulletins.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting on diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
• Repair and rebuild diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic components.
• Conduct routine maintenance for fleet reliability and safety.
• Calibrate engine controls, fuel systems, and emission devices.
• Collaborate with maintenance to plan repairs and estimate costs.
• Maintain service records and ensure OSHA safety compliance.
